Great news for Irish authors and publishers, as now books published in Ireland can enter the Man Booker Prize. Previously works published in Ireland, were not are eligible to submit novels for the prize, causing frustration for Irish writers and publishers. Irish titles that are published at the same time in the UK will now be able to enter, finally offering great recognition of the worth of Irish writers in one of the most celebrated literary prizes.
